Hello, I was given an orchids as a gift a few months ago and now it has dropped all the flowers. I was just going to throw it out thinking I had killed it, but now watching your clip I am inspired and full of hope for this beautiful little plant. I am tentatively going to clip it back as suggested, but once I have done that, where do I put it to let it regenerate itself? Looking at the size of the leaves on your example I feel mine is too small to repot just yet, would that be correct?

    orchids love to be …
orchids love to be pot bound.. even if the roots escape the pot, it just means they suck moisture from the air… id give it another 6 months before repotting – never repot when blooming – makes them shocked and the flower’s life declines fast and may wither within days or weeks!
