where to find broom (the shrub)?

i am looking for broom, and i am having trouble finding any. i live in NY, wil they sell it at the florists?

If you are speaking of wild broom sedge, you can try driving into the countryside and looking for overgrown fields. You may be able to find it at a florist. The stuff grows wild here in the southern US. It is usually found in fields that have lain fallow for a few years.
