Why Do Men Wait For A Special Occasion To Show There Mate How Much They Love Them?

Ladies, how many of you have men who wait until a special occasion before they buy you flowers or chocolates or does something nice for you? If they are with you and love you all so very much, shouldn’t they be showing that love 24-7, 365 instead of when a particular day and/or date comes up? Again, LADIES, is this something you are comfortable with or are you really wishing that your mate would show a little more LOVE when its not a certain day of the year. I ain’t hatin’ on the fella’s, I’m just trying to get at a basic truth here and find out what the LADIES have to say about the matter at hand. LADIES, EXPRESS YOURSELF!!!

You’re a guy, so I guess I should be asking YOU that question :)

My boyfriend used to be like that. He always thought I’d be around and didn’t really appreciate me. One day I got sick of it and said something. Usually it takes more than saying something one time for it to make a change, but he did. Now he appreciates me all the time. He does really cute little things. For example, he bought me this silly St. Patrick’s Day pin at work one day. I thought it was so sweet! I love little things like this. When he has a day off and I have to work, he always cooks me dinner. I’m really lucky…and I remember to APPRECIATE IT!

They think they show love everyday, in small ways women do not notice.

It’s sickening to think people have to act lovey-dovey all the time. Things like that lead people into having false and unreal expectations of what love really is.
Besides that, if people do ‘special’ things all the time they become normal and not special anymore. It devalues the whole idea of showing someone that you love them.
